Our first Good Run Form workshop was held this past Saturday morning. We had a good crowd show up, with varying interest and skill levels in running. Some discovered new techniques to help their knees after decades of avoiding running, others learned the value of balance exercises and how they benefit your overall run, and others still just found a more enjoyable way to get from point A to point B on foot.
These run workshops are going to keep on happening, so keep an eye out for upcoming dates!
We’ll get some photos up soon, but in the meantime, don’t forget your major lessons:
1. Foot cadence: approx. 90-steps per minute per foot, counting either your right or left foot; OR 180-steps if you count right-left
2. Balance: head and upper body
3. When you’re tired, walk, OR stop and do some jumping jacks
A big thanks to Crema for the delicious burritos!
